Returns & Exchanges
We offer a 30 day return policy on items purchased from our online store.
Domestic Australian online orders qualify for a free return label if the purchase was $99 or more.
Australian orders $99 and under will need to be sent back using a courier of your choice. All returns/exchanges need to be lodged using the return procedure below.
Holiday Returns
We've made it easy for you to feel confident in getting gifts sorted early - eligible items purchased between the 1st of December and the 20th of December can be returned until the 31st of January 2023.
Online Return Procedure
To qualify for a return, items must be in new and re-sellable condition including all product tags and packaging. We may refuse items that have signs of use or wear.
- Item(s) must be returned within 30 days of purchase; 30 starts from the date of package arrival.
- Item(s) must be unworn and unused with the original tags, shoe boxes and packaging still intact.
- Make sure to package the item(s) in a safe and protective manor to unsure safe shipping. Do not place the shipping label directly on the shoe box or packaging. This may have your return denied.
- If returning an order using your own method (orders $99 and under), please make sure to include your return ID which you will receive via email once lodge using the return procedure below.

All exchanges will be processed as full refunds using the instructions above. You must return/exchange the item within the 30 days return period. We then ask for you to re-purchase the correct item or size online in a new and separate order. This allows for a much quicker return process and up to date stock availability.

We are happy to exchange or issue a credit note with 14 days as long as the below Terms and Conditions are satisfied.
No refunds can be provided for GIFTS. Gifts can be exchanged or issued with a credit note when accompanied with a Gift Exchange Card and/or Gift Receipt.
Refunds for faulty items are only made to the same method of payment used to purchase the goods and for the same value they were purchased.

We currently don't allow online order to be returned in-store. All online orders must be return using the above instructions and can be lodged using this form.
You will receive your refund for an online order as soon as the returned item(s) reach our warehouse, a refund will be processed within 3-5 business days. However, funds may require extra time to reach your account based on bank procedure. You will be notified by our team when the refund has been processed.
If an item(s) is sent or received incorrectly we'll gladly replace the item free of charge via express post shipping. We will also include a prepaid Australia post satchel or label with the replacement to send the incorrect item back at no extra charge.

Please make sure to read our full terms and conditions to make sure your item qualifies for a warranty claim. To lodge a warranty claim please refer to the link above. Warranty claims cannot be lodged through our return portal due to the nature of the approval process.
We currently don't allow online purchases to be returned in-store. This includes other retailers and stockists of Columbia Sportswear.
We currently don't allow in-store purchased to be returned online, unless deemed faulty.
We may reject a return or exchange if the return doesn't meet the criteria below:
- The item(s) showed signs of use or wear. Examples include dirt on the bottom of the footwear or marks/odour on apparel.
- The product packaging or product ticketing is damaged. Do not send footwear back using the product box as the main shipping satchel.
